Hilda Wright Williams, age 95 of Whittier, N.C. passed away surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Asheboro, N.C., one of ten children to Bulah Craven and Raymond Wright. She and her husband of 68 years, Nolan Edgar Williams resided in Boynton Beach, Florida for 19 years before moving to Whittier, N.C.
Hilda was a homemaker/bookkeeper until her children were grown. She got her Real Estate Brokers License and started working with Advance Real Estate in Bryson City, N.C. She enjoyed the business she founded for 30 years. Hilda had an amazing “green” thumb, enjoying gardening and flea marketing.
Hilda was preceded in death by the love of her life, Nolan, brothers Alford Clayson Wright and wife Opal of Asheboro, Harold Lloyd Wright and wife Thelma of Ramseur, Sulan Wright and wife Audrey of Asheboro, and David Wright and wife Edna of Ramseur. Sisters Celia Mae Hicks and husband Earlie of Greensboro, Pauline Bescher and husband Charles of Denton, Inez Staley and husband Worth of Asheboro, Mozelle Whitley and husband Colin of Asheboro. Brother-in-law James B Case of Summerland Key, Florida and son-in-law Vasil Doudov of Vero Beach, Florida.
She is survived by daughter Nola Doudov of Vero Beach, Florida, son Eugene Williams and wife Liz of Whittier, N.C. Grandchildren Adriane Doudov of Vero Beach, Florida, Aaron Williams and wife Amanda of Whittier and great-grandchildren Cody and Mason. One sister Alease Wright Case of Vero Beach, Florida.
Burial for Mrs. Milda Wright Williams will be held at High Pine Wesleyan Church Cemetery, Ulah, N.C.
