Helen Lemmon McDonald

Helen Lemmon McDonald, age 89, passed away December 15, 2021 at Greenwood Place Assisted Living, Marietta, GA.

Helen was born at Walnut Grove, Missouri and was raised in the Ozark Mountains. She was a housewife and mother who raised three children at their home in Springfield, MO. The family enjoyed the outdoors and often spent vacations camping and fishing.

Helen is survived by her children: Janet McDonald, Joyce Smith (Tom), and Mike McDonald (Ellen); grandchildren: Sydney D’Arcy (Craig), Emily Anderson (DJ), Marti Hill (Mike), Lucy Yeary (Travis), Aaron McDonald (Christina) and Stephanie Saferite (Terrence); 16 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at Midway Wesleyan Church Cemetery, 331 Worthville Rd., Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 2:00 pm in Randleman with Minister Rebecca Coley officiating. Helen will be buried next to her husband of 62 years, Jack McDonald, who passed away in 2012.
