Greyson Tatum Cowfer, infant son of Scott and Amanda Hunt Cowfer, of Asheboro passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021 at Beacon Place in Greensboro. In addition to his parents, Greyson is survived by his brother, Peyton Cowfer of Asheboro; grandparents, George and Kathy Cowfer of Summerfield and Calvin and Linda Hunt of Asheboro; great grandmother, Linda Walburn of Fayetteville; great grandfather, James Walburn and wife, Chong of Killeen, TX; uncle, Mike Hodgin and wife Jenny of Asheboro; aunts, Lisa Cowfer, Susan Cowfer, and Tammy Emmons all of Fayetteville; great uncles, James Walburn and wife Linda of Wichita, KS and David Walburn of Hope Mills; and great aunts, Barbara Lamb and husband Ed of Asheboro and Lillian Dunn of High Falls. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mountain View Church of Asheboro Cemetery, 1530 Mt. View Church Road in Asheboro with Rev. Clint Kearns and Rev. David Hunt officiating. Memorials may be made to Beacon Place, Hospice & Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2502 Summit Ave., Greensboro, NC 27405.
