Grant Allan Epps

Grant Allan Epps, 80, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, December 3, 2022.

Mr. Epps was born in Troy, North Carolina on December 30, 1941, to the late Charlie and Rachel Moore Epps. He is survived by his wife Myrtle Morris Epps of 51 years. Grant was of the Baptist Faith and was a member at Sugarfork Baptist Church where he and his wife served as messengers to the Baptist Association. He served in the United States Army and was proud of his service. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, mowing and taking care of the yard. He also enjoyed raising dogs and referred to them as his “youngins”.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by several uncles and numerous cousins. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Wayne, that passed away as an infant.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2022, in the Chapel of Pugh Funeral Home at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jamie Sink officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro, North Carolina.
