Goldie H. Wallace

Goldie H. Wallace, age 66, of 402 East Main Street, Troy, died Saturday, December 15, 2012 at her home. Goldie was born September 27, 1946, at Montgomery County, NC, the daughter of Jesse and Barbara Shelton Hancock. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Goldie was a graduate of East Montgomery High School, former owner/operator of Tri Star Temporary Service and a former employee of GVK America. She was a retired Director of First Bank. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, John Wallace. Goldie is survived by two sons: Kyle Shea of Chapel Hill, Derek Shea of Carrboro; two sisters: Ann Brown of Candor, Faye Russell of Troy; two brothers: Roger Hancock of Candor, Bob Hancock of Seven Lakes. The family will receive friends Monday, December 17, 2012, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy; other times at the residence. A graveside service will be Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Southside Cemetery, S Main Street, Troy, with Rev. Kelly Sorg officiating. Memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Music Academy, 239 N.
