Gloria Lucille New

Gloria Lucille Pace New, age 73 of Asheboro, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at High Point Regional Hospital, High Point.

Gloria was born February 14, 1949 in Greensboro, NC to James and Jurlene Byers Pace. She worked 40 years before retiring as an office manager with Manor Care Corporation. When she wasn’t working, she loved to bowl, go hunting with her family and enjoyed reading. In addition to her parents, Gloria is preceded in death by her four brothers, James, Jonathan, Charles, and Thomas Pace.

Gloria is survived by her husband of 55 years, Neal New of the home; daughters, Audrey New Flanagan (Mark) of Winston Salem, Alycia New Massey (Ronnie) of Stoneville; grandchildren, Shaylene, Shaun, MacKenzie, Mark Jr. (Brittney), Phillip (Savanna), Andrew (Faith), Christa (Kevin), and Brad; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Lori Gardner (Terry) of Alabama; two sister-in-laws, Laura New and Ellen Pace; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.  

No formal service is planned at this time.
