Gloria Jean Freeman Chriscoe, age 66, of 859-A Frank Lamb Dr., Asheboro died Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 11:00 am at Bailey's Grove Baptist Church with Rev. William Chriscoe officiating. Mrs. Chriscoe was a native of Charleston, SC, was formerly employed with J. P. Stevens in Laurinburg and was a member of Bailey's Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and had a great love for her dogs and cats. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Harrison and her husband Greg of Seagrove; sons, William Chriscoe and his wife Cindy of Seagrove, Tony Chriscoe and his wife Anne of Conway, SC, Johnny Chriscoe of Asheboro; step-mother, Dorothy Freeman; daughter-in-law, Melba Johns and her husband Jack of Conway, SC; sister, Nancy Robbins of Asheboro; grandchildren, Jessie, Amber and Robin Chriscoe of Asheboro; 4 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Saturday, Sept 24 from 10:00-11:00 am at Bailey's Grove Baptist Church, 105 E. Beasley St., Asheboro. Arrangements by Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro.
