Georgianna Clifton

Georgianna Decker Clifton, age 74, of 525 Foxworth Rd., Asheboro died Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Randolph Hospital. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 21, 2012 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. A memorial service will follow on Saturday at 2:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Tim Pheagin officiating. Mrs. Clifton was born in Jersey City, NJ on September 27, 1937 to Charles Fisher Decker, Jr. and Katherine Mooney Decker. She was formerly employed as a bookkeeper for Triad Propane Gas Company and Clifton Masonry. In addition to her parents, Georgianna was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Lee Clifton. She is survived by her son, Christopher C. Clifton and his wife Donna Marley Clifton of Asheboro, NC; daughter, Catherine Clifton of Asheboro, NC; brother, Charles L. Decker and his wife Betty Decker of Charlottesville, VA; and sister, Carol D. Ferguson and her husband S.S. Ferguson of Pinehurst, NC. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
