George Ray Lampkins

George Ray Lampkins, age 68, of Randleman died Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mr. Lampkins was born July 25, 1948 son of George and Margaret Lampkins. Ray was a native of Sullivan County, Tennessee and was a US Army Veteran. Ray was an excellent guitarist and loved to sing. He enjoyed fishing and woodwork. He is survived by his daughter: Stacey Turner and her husband Tim of Cleburne, TX; granddaughter: Abigail Tindell of Cleburne, TX.; long time and special friend, Patsy Jonas of Summerfield; brothers: Charles Lampkins and his wife Lynn of Bristol, TN and Clarence Lampkins and his wife Diane of Pointette, WI,; sister: Mary Ann Ambrose of Kitty Hawk, NC.
