Garrett Earl Thomas, age 83, of Asheboro passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Randolph Hospice House.
Mr. Thomas was born May 19, 1937 in Moore County, NC, the son of Branson Earl and Blanche Parsons Thomas.
He grew up in Asheboro and attended Asheboro High School. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in Germany and was a member of Giles Chapel United Methodist Church. Garrett was formerly employed with Klopman Mills, Coca-Cola and retired from UPS.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Audrey Nance.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Patsy Langley Thomas; daughter: Kimberly Thomas of Asheboro; son: Michael Thomas and his wife, Amy of Asheboro, and grandson: Kaleb Thomas.
A private family service will be held.
