Frank Chaney

Franklin Johnson Frank Chaney, age 73, of 3697 NC Hwy 22 N., Franklinville died Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mr. Chaney was a native of Spray, NC, was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict, and was retired from Western Union. He is survived by his wife, Charlene Heimbigner Chaney; daughters, Shirley Roberg of Surry, VA, Mary Asami of Tacoma, WA; sons, Bobby Chaney of Franklinville, NC, Leonard Chaney of Belford, NJ; 11 grandchildren; sister, Frances Rhodes of Hampton, VA; brothers, Matt Chaney of Yorktown, VA, Taylor Chaney of Hampton, VA. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 7, 2007 at 4:00 PM at Grays Chapel United Methodist Church, 5056 N.C. Hwy 22 North, Franklinville with Rev. Doug Miller officiating.
