Frances Davis Sanders

Frances Davis Sanders, age 68, of Troy, NC passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
 
Mrs. Sanders was born on July 11, 1954 in Montgomery County to Tommie Atkins and Carrie Hardister Atkins.  She was a homemaker and always had a spotless home.  She enjoyed growing flowers, going shopping.  She was a super NASCAR fan.  She especially enjoyed Christmas and spending time with her family.   
 
Frances was a caring wife of her husband Larry Sanders for 24 years and was a loving mother of her daughter: Michelle Williams (Brad) and son: Lee Davis (Mary Beth); step-son Joey Sanders (Tiffany).  She also loved all her grandchildren: Connor Williams (Breanna), Lindsey Williams, Abigail Williams, Liberty Williams, Isabella Williams, Nolan Sanders, Lillianne Sanders, Brooks Burris, Sarah Burris, and John Duff Burris; siblings: Clifton Atkins, Roy Atkins, Pauline Lanier, Christine Lanier, Lois Overby, Joyce Greene, Rosie Freeman, and Darlene Lucas.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother: Larry Atkins and step-son Nikki Sanders.
 
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Pugh Troy Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Troy, NC.  A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Pugh Troy Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Brad Williams officiating.  The family will have a private graveside service following the funeral service.
