Mr. Edgar Dale Clise (Punk, to his family), 88, of Randleman passed away Friday morning, October 10, 2025, at the Hospice House of Randolph. Mr. Clise was a mechanical engineer in the automotive industry, retiring from Volvo. His career brought him to North Carolina where he and his wife settled in the Randleman area. He enjoyed watching college football, especially West Virginia University, cheering on the Mountaineers. After retirement, he enjoyed spending time gardening and dining out at his favorite restaurants. He was married to the love of his life, Jo, for 63 years before she passed in 2021. Together they raised 2 children. He cherished the times he spent with his family traveling the US in their RV visiting national parks.
Mr. Clise enjoyed his church family, New Salem United Methodist Church. He was a quiet, reserved man unless he was watching football. He had a strong sense of right and wrong.
