Douglas James Spencer

Douglas James Spencer, age 45, of 907 Lee St., Asheboro died Saturday, December 24, 2011 at 907 Lee St., Asheboro. Doug was born in Asheboro on July 7, 1966 to Jim and Maxine Brown Spencer. He was a graduate of Asheboro High School and of NC State University. He was self-employed as an architect and loved to travel. He is survived by his mother: Maxine Brown Spencer; brother and his wife: Lee M. and Barbara Kearns of Asheboro, NC; brother and his wife, Charles and Min Hee Spencer of Korea; sister-in-law: Chin Suk Spencer of Asheboro, NC; and nieces: Ashley and Anna Spencer of Asheboro, NC. The Memorial Service will be Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Rev. Michael Holder officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Asheboro. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Memorial Service at the funeral home.
