Dorothy Mae Hill Brim

Mrs. Dorothy Mae Hill Brim, 87 of Asheboro passed away peacefully  September 29th, 2023 at the Clapps Nursing Home in Asheboro. Mrs. Brim was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years Jackey Brim,  infant son Timothy Lloyd Swaney, brothers Junior Hill, Donald Hill and Kenneth Hill.  Mrs. Brim worked in the textile industry and prior to retirement was a sewing supervisor.

Mrs. Brim is survived by 2 sons, Thomas Swaney (Teresa) of Asheboro and Sammy Brim (Lori) of Asheboro.  4 Daughters Debra Dixon of Asheboro, Susan Kennedy of Durham, Janice Latham (Bruce) of Seagrove and Michelle Belford (Don) of Lexington.  16 Grandchildren, 37 Great Grandchildren and 11 Great-Great Grandchildren. 4 brothers Cecil Hill - David Hill - Jimmy Hill and Jack Gray all of Asheboro. 4 Sisters Novie Bray-Emily Owens-Blanche Cavender and Doris Honeycutt.

Funeral services for Mrs. Brim will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 2:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Chad Marley.  Burial will follow at the Huldah Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00-1:45.
