Doris Wilson Garner

Doris Wilson Garner, age 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 8, 1941 to Hobert Wilson and Ethel Richardson Wilson. Doris graduated from Seagrove High School in 1960. She was married to the love of her life, Raymond Garner, for 58 years. Doris loved reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Doris was preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond; son, Tommy; parents, Hobert and Ethel Wilson; and brothers, Harold, David, Hobert Jr., and Charlie Wilson.

She is survived by her daughters, Deanna (Michael) Murray, Sherry (Denny) Farmer, and her bonus daughter, Angela Garner; grandchildren, Hannah Smith, Brittany Hicks, Meghan Garner, Ethan Garner, Aaron Garner, Casey Markle, Kaley Farmer, and Christy Farmer; and 16 great-grandchildren.  In addition, Mrs. Garner is survived by brothers Roger Wilson, Richard Wilson, Jimmy Wilson, Joe Wilson and John Wilson.  She is also survived by 2 sisters, Julia Thompson and Susie Loflin.

The family would like to thank the family of Lou Wilson, the staff of Northpointe and Graybrier for assisting in caring for her.

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home in Randleman. Funeral service will be held Friday, July 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Eddie Pugh Memorial Chapel with Pastor Billy Myers officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park.
