Donnie Gene Gauze

Donnie Gene "Duck" Gauze, age 80, of Asheboro passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022.

Mr. Gauze was born in Williamson, WV on August 30, 1941 to Hent and Flora Pinson Gauze.  Donnie was formerly employed with Malco in Chicago, IL and Anco in Thomasville, NC.  

He is survived by his daughter, Angel L. Cyr of Thomasville; grandchildren, McKenzie Hall and Caydence Hall; sister, Loretta Robinette of WV; brothers, Kelly Gauze and Jimmy Gauze both of WV; and half sister, Wilma F. Duncan of Louisiana.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 3, 2022 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro.  Funeral services will follow on Thursday at 2:00 pm in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will be held in the New Hope Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
