Donald Frances "Donnie" Taylor

Donald Frances “Donnie” Taylor, 76, of Sophia passed away Monday, November 3, 2025, at Randolph Health with his family by his side.

Mr. Taylor was of Catholic faith. He was a veteran of the US Army and retired from Lorillard Tobacco Company.

Donnie is preceded in death by his parents, Rowland Taylor and Dorothy Mills.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Anna Marie Taylor; children, Danny Ivy Mitchell (Lisa) and Shelly Ann; two grandchildren, Hayley Hoover (William) and Taylor Conner (Sydney); and three great-grandchildren. He has one brother, Terry Burks (Lisa) and sister, Sharon Burks, and a host of extended friends and family.

There are no services planned at this time.
