Donald Eugene Myers, age 65, of Randleman, NC, passed away at his home on October 3, 2025.
Donnie was born on June 27, 1960, in Oceanside, California, to William Layton Myers and Faye Dean Johnson raised in Springtown Texas. He lived a life full of hard work, laughter, and deep love for his family and friends. Donnie was known for his entrepreneurial spirit—he started his own business, Mobile Home Exteriors, and traveled up and down the East Coast completing jobs with pride and dedication.
He loved being outdoors, especially during the summer, spending time in the sun and at the beach. A loyal Dallas Cowboys fan, he rarely missed a game. He enjoyed fishing, watching westerns, and spending time with his friends and loved ones. Donnie had a sharp sense of humor and was known for picking on the people he cared about most—because if he didn’t pick on you, he didn’t love you. He was a father figure to many and touched countless lives with his generosity and kindness.
Donnie married the love of his life, Glendola, and together they shared 43 wonderful years.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Layton Myers; his mother, Laqueda Myers; his biological mother, Faye Dean Johnson; and his brothers, Arlen Dunsworth, Billy Myers, and James Dunsworth.
Donnie is survived by his wife of 43 years, Glendola Myers; his children, Robert Myers (Christina French), William Myers, Aimee Myers, and Linda Slonski (Alex); and his grandchildren, Casey Cox, Jayden Myers, Emma-Le Myers, Rachel Myers, Gabriel Myers, Donald Neas, Adrianne Neas, Christian Neas, and Logan Neas. He is also survived by his siblings, Debra Sanders, Florinda Dunsworth, Aubrey Dunsworth, and Kevin Dunsworth; his sister-in-law, Patricia Myers; his aunt, Alice Bills Bowen; and his beloved dog, Lola.
Donnie will be remembered for his humor, hard work, love for his family, and the way he brought people together.
