Denver Gene Thomas

Denver Gene Thomas, age 85, of Randleman died Tuesday, September 29, 2020. Mr. Thomas was born May 2, 1935 the son of Ted and Gala Smith Thomas. Gene was a native of Clay County and a truck driver for 42 years. He enjoyed working on mowers, gardening and attending church. In addition to his parents, Gene is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Thomas, daughter, Angela Cox, 3 brothers and 6 sisters. He is survived by his daughters: Gloria Miller of Sophia and Pamela Thomas of Randleman; sons: Danny Thomas (Peggy) of Pleasant Garden, and James Thomas(Mary) of Randleman; 7 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; brothers: Loy Thomas (Ruth) and Dwayne Thomas. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Pugh Funeral Home, Randleman is serving the Thomas family.
