Deborah Lynn Gray Lamb

Sophia - Deborah “Debbie” Koenig Gray Lamb, age 69 of Sophia passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021 at High Point Regional Hospital.

She was born September 25, 1952, the daughter of Harold Wayne Koenig and Bonnie Marie Cochran Koenig.

Debbie was born in Wichita, Kansas and raised in Titusville, Florida.  She was a member of Worthville Baptist Church in Randleman and loved her church family and singing gospel songs. She formerly played softball for the Roadrunners Team in Florida and taught girls’ softball in North Carolina. Debbie was retired and enjoyed her arts and crafts.  She had a passion to be outside, whether it was going fishing, camping, or just working in her flower and vegetable gardens. Debbie enjoyed dancing, playing golf and riding motorcycles. She loved animals, especially getting to see an eagle.

Debbie is survived by her husband: Bobby Darrell Lamb; daughter: Shannon Marie Koenig both of Sophia, grandchildren: Deven Gregory Hadsock and Shane Paiton Hadsock; great grandson: William Paiton Hadsock; brother: Lloyd Koenig and his wife, Vicki of Minnesota, and their children: Breanna Black and Katie Koenig; one great niece, two great nephews, and many friends.  

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC with Pastor Junior Dawkins and Billy Massey officiating.

Memorial may be made to the family to assist in the medical expenses, Bobby Darrell Lamb, P. O. Box 3, Sophia, NC 27350.
