David William "Burr" Harris

David William “Burr” Harris, age 71 of Randleman, passed away on Saturday, May 03, 2025 at his home.

Burr was born on June 27, 1953 in Guilford County, NC to Woodrow and Margaret Pegram Harris. Burr worked as a supervisor for Georgia Pacific and Boise Cascade lumber yards. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed hunting and having cookouts, and loved spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, Burr was preceded in death by his stepson, Chad Sexton; and his brother’s, Dale Harris, and Steven “Porky” Harris.

Burr is survived by his wife of 26 years, Debbie Harris; stepchildren, Shain Sexton (Amber) of Randleman, Shawn Sexton of Oak Island, and Shannon Sexton Scott of Archdale; ten grandchildren, Issac Sexton, Kaylee Sexton, Skylar Lineberry, Hannah Krone, Jordon Arthur, Emma Sexton, Kash Sexton, Khloe Sexton, Ella Sexton, and River Scott; great grandchildren, Antonio, Layton, Waylon, Riah, and one on the way; and his faithful canine companion, Blue.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US HWY 220 Business North, Asheboro, NC 27203 with Pastor Casey Potter officiating.
