Coy Robbins, age 80, of Asheboro passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at High Point Medical Center. Mr. Robbins was born in Randolph County on July 11, 1940 to Dolph and June Hughes Robbins. He served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard. Coy worked for Branco Enterprises/Clothes Warehouse for 40 years and was the owner/operator of Coy Robbins Plumbing. In addition to his parents, Coy was preceded in death by his siblings, Helen Tucker, Calvin Robbins, Mary Robbins, J.T. Robbins, Esther Cooper, and Linda Simmons. Coy loved playing golf with his friends but loved his family unconditionally. He is survived by his daughter, Dee Robbins Richardson (Tim) of Asheboro; and granddaughter, Day Richardson. Coy's body will lie in repose on Sunday, November 29, 2020 from 10:00 am-1:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. A graveside service will follow on Sunday at 3:00 pm at New Hope Memorial Gardens, 3448 New Hope Church Road in Asheboro. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Given, 5410 Farmstead Rd., Seagrove, NC 27341-8116. Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro is serving the Robbins family.
