Clarence Edwin Cornell

Clarence Edwin Cornell, age 77, of Troy, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Autumn Care of Biscoe. Mr. Cornell was born May 22, 1939 in Joplin, Missouri to William Carl and Sarahbell Borton Cornell, both of whom precede him in death. Mr. Cornell was a member of Center Cross Baptist Church. He was a retired operations manager in the trucking industry, a loving husband and father and entertaining grandfather who enjoyed farming. He was also a ham radio operator. He is survived by his wife of fifty-six years: Hazel Cox Cornell of the home; one son: Eddie Cornell and wife Peggy of Troy; one daughter: Jeannine Lantz and husband, Bruce of Little Rock, Arkansas; one brother: Harold Cornell of New Jersey; and one grandson: Adam Cornell of Ether.
