Clara Mae Pugh Perry

Clara Mae Pugh Perry, age 80, of Randleman passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at her home.

Mrs. Perry was born in Randolph County on October 4, 1941 to Charlie and Bessie McNeill Pugh.  She was retired from Arrow International  and was a member of Sophia Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Elizabeth Perry and siblings, Floyd Harvell, James Harvell, and Margie Harvell.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Lewis Perry; daughters, Barbara Strickland (Steve) of Asheboro and Beverly Tysinger (Ricky) of Mt. Gilead; grandchildren, Steven Strickland, Krystyna Strickland, Alyssa Frye (Josh), and Sarah Tysinger; sisters, Ann King (Milton) of Asheboro and Bernice Melton of Georgia.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 11:00 am-12 noon at Liberty Road Baptist Church, 2179 WOW Road in Randleman.  A memorial service will immediately follow the visitation at Liberty Road Baptist Church with Rev. Don Ashley, Jr. officiating.
