Cinda Lee Roberts, age 78 of Troy, NC, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Autumn Care of Biscoe, NC.

Cinda was born on December 9, 1947,in Montgomery County NC to the late Freeman Edward Morris and the late Myrtle Morton Morris. She was retired from Capels, Inc. where she worked as a machine operator. Cinda was a social butterfly. She loved to travel especially to the beach. She loved camping, loved to dance and she enjoyed watching westerns and cooking shows on tv, and she loved a good dip of Navy snuff. Cinda's pride and joy were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was known for her biscuits and gravy and her fried chicken.

Cinda is survived by three daughters: Cheryl Ann Hilliard (Johnny) of Siler City, Shelia Ann Thompson of Troy, and Kimberly Vega of Troy; one son: Kevin Eugene Johnson of Troy; grandchildren: Rebecca Stevens (Kirt), Joseph Tyler Thompson, Samantha Thompson (Brittany), Katie Davis (Benny), Alex Johnson (Gracie), Holly Scott (TJ), John Hilliard, Jr., Jana Hernandez (Osiel); great-grandchildren: Nova Rain Thompson, Everly Jo Scott, Lily Hilliand, Natalie Hernandez, Hailey Hernandez, Joshua Hilliard, William Hilliard, and Peyton Hilliard; brother: Bill Morris (Wendy) of Franklinville and one sister Shelby Poole of Troy. Along with her parents she was predeceased by her brother Charles Morris.

Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Pugh Troy Funeral Home Chapel, 211 N. Main St., Troy, NC. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Uwharrie Methodist Church Cemetery, 3027 NC Highway 109, Troy, NC 27371, with the Reverend William Saunders and Benny Davis officiating and special singing by Emily Logan.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cinda's honor to Uwharrie Methodist Church, P.O. Box 8. Troy, NC 27371.
