Christina (Chrissy) Marie Odom

Christina (Chrissy) Marie Odom, 38, of Asheboro, NC died at Duke Hospital on December 17, 2020. She was born on July 29, 1982 in Los Alamitos, CA. She is survived by two daughters, Kendall Turner and Avery Harris both of the home; her mother, Augustina (Tina) Luther and stepfather Jerry Luther of Asheboro; her father, James (Jimmy) Odom and stepmother Sherry Odom of Fayetteville; two sisters, Elizabeth Odom of Asheboro and Lindsey Odom of Fayetteville; one stepbrother, Drew Stevens of Wilmington; and her step maternal grandparents, Jesse (Dick) and Christine Baker of South Boston, VA. She was preceded in death by her stepbrother, Ryan Stevens; her maternal grandparents, Jesus and Sarah (Libby) Arenivas; and her paternal grandparents, Kenneth Odom and Marie Melton. Chrissy is also survived by a niece, Ashleigh Basson and husband Ryno; two nephews, Dakota (Cody) Blackwelder and Jaiden Odom, all of Asheboro; and great nephew, Conner Blackwelder. She was a 2000 graduate of Pine Forest High School in Fayetteville, NC. Chrissy's greatest joy was being a mom to her girls, rather watching Kendall play softball, Avery drawing, or just watching movies and spending time together. Chrissy's body will lie in repose on Sunday, December 20, 2020 from 1:00-4:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Thompson officiating.
