Charlie L. Bullard

Charles Lindsey "Charlie" Bullard, age 82, of Asheboro passed away on October 8, 2026, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist High Point Medical Center.

Charlie was born in Anson County, NC on April 13, 1944, to Joseph and Clara Threadgill Bullard, who preceded him in death. He was formerly employed as a master mechanic with Stedman Manufacturing. Charlie was a very kind gentleman. He enjoyed spending time with his family and coached his sons in little league. He was good with his hands and could fix anything. Charlie loved NASCAR, hunting, fishing, and watching westerns.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Hill Bullard; sons, Michael “Mike” Bullard (LuAnn) of Trinity and Steve Bullard (Melinda) of Asheboro; stepdaughter, Susan Clapp (Rodney) of Liberty; grandchildren, Elise, Taryn, Andee, and Haley; step granddaughters, Evanna and Taylor; great grandchildren, Cooper, Salem, Truit, Samuel, Elin, Charles, and Paul; and sister, Clara Mae Wilkerson of Asheboro.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 12, 2026, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 1:00 pm at the Glenn “Mac” Pugh Chapel with Pastor Troy Carter officiating. Interment will follow at Randolph Memorial Park.
