Catherine Carol Clifton

Catherine Carol "Kay" Clifton, age 56, of Asheboro passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Thursday, April 27, 2017.

Ms. Clifton was born in Randolph County on March 21, 1961 to Bobby and Georgianna Decker Clifton. Kay was a 1979 graduate of Asheboro High School. She was employed with Stedman Manufacturing and then at Randolph Hospital in housekeeping. Kay was of the Catholic faith. Kay was a kind, loving, and giving individual. Amid all of her health issues, Kay never complained.

She is survived by her brother, Chris Clifton and wife Donna Marley Clifton of Asheboro; and her canine companion, Heidi.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 2, 2017 from 6:00 – 6:45 PM prior to the Memorial Service being held at 7:00 PM in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gary Mason officiating.
