Carlos Ruben Alverio

Carlos Ruben Alverio, age 62, of Thomasville died Monday, February 12, 2018.

Mr. Alverio was a native of Puerto Rico and operated an auto body repair shop in Thomasville. He was an artist, musician and part-time comedian. Mr. Alverio was a wonderful father and grandfather and was blessed with many life-long friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Victor Alverio and granddaughter, Ava Fellows.

He is survived by his mother, Conchita Soto of Puerto Rico; sisters, Iris Alverio of Connecticut, Maggie Alverio of Puerto Rico; brother, Junior Alverio of Puerto Rico; daughters: Madeline Alverio Luther of Asheboro, Toni Fellows of Gibsonville; granddaughters, Amelia Luther and Madison Kauther.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, February 16, 2018 from 6:00- 8:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro.
