Brenda Joyce McCauley Stafford

Brenda Joyce McCauley Stafford, age 81 of Asheboro, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Blumenthal Health and Rehabilitation Center in Greensboro.

Brenda was born on March 10, 1944 in Guilford County, to Albert Barnes and Margaret McCauley. Brenda worked in the Guilford County School System for 25 years as a cafeteria manager. Brenda enjoyed painting and loved doing word games. In Addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by her husband, Gilmer Stafford; mother and step-father, Margaret McCauley Wade and James Wade; daughter, Tina J. Morrison; and her sister, Barbara Williams.

Brenda is survived by her son, James Stafford of Livermore, CA; daughter, Tami Stafford of Greensboro; grandchildren, Steven Stafford, Bradley Stafford, Sydney Martelle-Stafford, Jason Brown, Danielle Morrison; and her sisters, Donna Wheeling of Greensboro, and Susan Craver (Wayne) of Level Cross.
