Billy Keith Vandyke

Billy Keith Vandyke, age 66, formerly of Randleman, NC died Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Clapp's Nursing Center, Pleasant Garden. Mr. Vandyke was born January 19, 1954 the son of Estil and Lottie Yates Vandyke. Billy was a native of Vansant, VA., and worked in the coal mine for many years. After moving to Randleman he retired from Energizer in Asheboro. He had a passion for working out. Billy attended First Baptist in Asheboro until he was unable to attend church. He enjoyed worshiping the Lord. In addition to his parents, Billy is preceded in death by his brother, Terry Vandyke and infant sister, Loretta Vandyke. He is survived by his care givers Beverly and Randy Coble of Randleman; son, Nicholas Vandyke of Winchester, VA., granddaughter, Alana Nicole Vandyke of Church View, VA.; brother, Stevie Vandyke of Vansant, VA.; sister-in-law, Debbie Vandyke; 2 nieces and 1 nephew. The family will receive friends Friday, February 21, 2020 from 9:00 - 9:45 AM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will follow at 10:00 am in the Chapel with Rev. Joey Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
