Beverly Carol Thomas

Beverly Carol Thomas, 57, of Asheboro passed away at The Moses H Cone Memorial Hospital on February 25, 2022.

Beverly was born on December 21, 1964 to parents Garland Crabtree and Edna Hall Crabtree. She worked for over 25 years as an E.C. teacher at Seagrove Elementary School, where she retired. Mrs. Thomas loved dogs, namely her baby Sophie. She also enjoyed reading and loved spending time vacationing at the beach.

Beverly was preceded in death by both of her parents. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Scottie Thomas; son, Joshua Scott Thomas; daughter, Kristin Lynn Thomas; brother, Barry Crabtree, and nephew, Tyler Wade Crabtree.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 5:00-7:00pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC 27203. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 11:00am in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC 27203. Burial will follow at Center Cross Baptist Church, 1789 Center Cross Church Road, Asheboro, NC 27205.
