Betty "Sue" Strider Spivey

Betty “Sue” Strider Spivey, 86, passed on February 17, 2023 at Clapps Convalescent Nursing Home, Pleasant Garden. She was born on October 17, 1936 to Jesse and Margaret Allred Strider.

In addition to her parents, Sue is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Delmar Spivey, 1 brother, and 4 sisters.

She is Survived by her 2 daughters Lynn Carter (Joey), and Patricia Pierce (Bryan), 3 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and her sister-in-law, Maephon Wirt.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 from 11:30-12:30 pm at Pugh Funeral Home-Randleman, 600 S. Main St., Randleman, NC 27317. The graveside service will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, with Pastor Billy Ray Myers officiating, 4538 Us Highway 220 Bus N, Asheboro, NC 27203, at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park.
