Betty Sue Brown Lennon, age 88, of Asheboro passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home.
Mrs. Lennon was born in Randleman, NC on December 3, 1933 to Susie and Willard Brown. She grew up in Asheboro where she met and married the love of her life, Frank Lennon.
Betty devoted her life to making a loving home for Frank and their 2 children. They were members of First United Methodist Church where many years ago she started the Mother's Morning Out program. "Miss Betty" lovingly cared for many children.
Betty is survived by her 2 children, son, Lee Lennon and daughter Debbie Miller and husband Charlie, all of Asheboro.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her siblings, Ted Brown, Joe Brown, Lucille Blake, Francis Davis, and Bonnie Groce.
Betty's gentle spirit and kind heart will forever be remembered.
A graveside service will be held at Randolph Memorial Park on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 11:00 am with Rev. Lynda Ferguson and Dr. Don Haynes officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to First United Methodist Church, 224 N. Fayetteville St., Asheboro, NC 27203 or Hospice of Randolph County, 416 Vision Dr., Asheboro, NC 27203.
