Barbara “Joan” Wolff, of Asheboro, NC, formerly of Aberdeen, MD, passed away on January 7, 2024. She was 78 years old.
Mrs. Wolff was born in Havre de Grace, MD, to Clarence William Brinegar and Evon Tressie Fender Brinegar. She was the wife of the late John P. Wolff, loving mother of Scott Patrick Malott (Jeannie), grandmother of Kas Way (Vanesa Rodriguez), Danielle Davis (Braydon), and Robert Rigler Jr., great-grandmother of Haley Gross and Eleanor Gross. She was the sister of Linda Brinegar and aunt of Wendy Moody (Brian).
Mrs. Wolff was a member of American Legion Post 39 in Bel Air, MD. Mrs. Wolff was very talented with arts and crafts and was known for her lovely Christmas cards. She also enjoyed Country Line Dancing, Hallmark Movies and Westerns, and her time working as “Sparkles” the clown, where she enjoyed making children smile. She had a love in her heart for Arizona, but especially the Wild West town of Old Tucson. Mrs. Wolff will be remembered for her loyal and dependable heart and her nostalgic nature.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024, from 11 AM until 1 PM, at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington St., Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will begin at 1 PM. Pastor Norman Obenshain will officiate. Interment will be held at Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
