Angela Dawn McRae

Angela Dawn McRae, age 62, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2026, at Sandy Ridge Assisted Living Facility in Candor, NC.

Angela was born in Christian County, KY on June 18, 1963, to the late Matthew Loveless McRae and the late Betty Jean Blalock McRae. She was a graduate of Richmond Senior High School class of '81 and went on to earn an Associates' Degree in Business.

Angela loved her family, always smiling, with her beautiful thick, long, dark, hair which she donated three times in her lifetime to Locks of Love. She enjoyed riding her motorcycle and also Clogging. She often attended Nascar and Drag races at Rockingham Motor Speedway. She also enjoyed trips to the beach. Angela was a Technology person, until she wasn't able to do it anymore.

Angela is survived by her sister: Zedena Kraus of Fayetteville, NC and brothers: Barry McRae (Hanna) of Harrisburg, NC and Matthew McRae (Julie) of Las Vegas NV; her children: Eric Pekuri of Rockingham, NC and Jared Pekuri of Lansing, MI; She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services for Angela will be held at a later date.
