Amber Greene Smith

Amber Michelle Greene Smith, age 38 of Asheboro, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022 at Randolph Health.

Amber was born in Albemarle on April 24, 1984 to Larry and Elizabeth Reynolds Greene. Amber was formally employed with Energizer. She enjoyed swimming, traveling to the beach with her family, and watching WWE wrestling. Most of all her pride and joy was her son Caden. Amber is preceded in death by her father, Larry Greene; grandparents, Jim and Emogene Dennis.  

Amber is survived by her son and his father, Caden Wyatt Smith and Jerry Smith; mother, Elizabeth Greene of Seagrove; sister, Tonya Greene of Franklinville; brother, Keith Greene of Asheboro; aunt, Andie Pole of Asheboro; uncles, James Dennis of Seagrove, Thomas Dennis of Eldorado; and many nieces and nephews including, Cody, Tristan, Chandler, Korbin, Marissa, Madison, Bucky, and Heather McDuffie.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 27, 2022 from 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro. A graveside service will follow at 4:00 pm at New Hope Memorial Garden Cemetery, 3448 New Hope Church Road, Asheboro.
