Alan Harrison Carter

Alan Harrison Carter, age 61, of Raleigh passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016 at the Randolph Hospice House. Mr. Carter was born in High Point, NC on May 13, 1955 to Leo and Helen Beck Carter. He was formerly employed with Reynolds & Reynolds and Crossroads Ford, and co-owner of Carter's Family Pharmacy. Alan was a loyal and caring friend and family member and an avid Tarheel fan. He is survived by his sister, Cathy Carter Clark of Asheboro; niece, Anne Clark Lee and husband Kenn of San Jose, CA; and great-niece and nephew Calleigh and Elisha. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 11:00 am at First Presbyterian Church, 420 West Walker Ave., Asheboro with Rev. Brian Gawf officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church narthex. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
