Mario Ramos

Mario Ramos, age 88, of Asheboro died Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Randolph Hospice House. Mr. Ramos, one of twelve children was born October 8, 1928 in Pelotas, Brazil to Gregorio and Consuelo Borges Ramos. He was retired from Pike Machine Company in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Mr. Ramos had a great love for all animals and was also a loving husband and father. In addition to his parents, Mr. Ramos was preceded in death by his wife, Avelina Ramos. He is survived by his son, Mario Sergio Ramos and wife Patricia Shevlin of Asheboro and his cat companion, Midnight. The family will receive friends Friday, September 8, 2017 from 6:00 -7:30pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. A private graveside service will be held.
