Jeana Elizabeth Hannah

Jeana Elizabeth Dunn Hannah, age 81, of Troy, NC passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro, NC.

Jeana was born in Montgomery County, NC on March 23, 1941 to the late Charles Dunn and Leah Moore Dunn.

She worked for nearly 30 years as a bank teller for First Bank, formerly Bank of Montgomery.  Jeana was an avid reader.  She enjoyed cooking, and was known for her stew beef and mashed potatoes.  In earlier years she enjoyed traveling with her husband.  Jeana had such a giving heart.  She never missed sending birthday cards or anniversary cards to her friends and family.  A special thing she did was to make "cheer bags" to give at Christmas time to anyone she knew that had lost a loved one. She was a loving and caring wife to Charles for nearly 62 years. 

Jeana is survived by her husband, Charles Hannah of Troy and one sister, Jeanette Lamonds of Troy.  

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Southside Cemetery, Main Street in Troy, with Pastor Frankie Royal officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to Montgomery County Humane Society, 442 Landfill Rd., Mt. Gilead, NC 27306 or to Randolph Hospice House, 416 Vision Drive, Asheboro, NC 27203.
